Saturday, May 7, is officially the Green Up Day for the State of Vermont. Please consider joining the group of volunteers in Plymouth to scour the town roads of litter.
Plan to meet at 8 AM behind the Plymouth Municipal Building to sign in, pick up your official greenup bags, and establish your route. There will be free goodies for all volunteers. This year, we are offering Green Up t-shirts, hats, a few stainless steel water bottles, and a few stainless steel travel mugs. Come early for the best selection! We will plan to meet back at the Municipal Building for a pot luck lunch at noon. Please bring a dish! The meal is always a good time.
Pick up trucks are always needed to haul the collected trash back to the transfer station. Remember to wear sturdy shoes, a hat, and gloves, and to bring a water bottle. If you have any questions, please email Eric or Elaine eehort@vermontel.net or call 672-3493. You can also learn more about greenup at greenupvermont.org
