Church of Our Saviour
How many of you have driven by the Killington Gondola on Route 4 and looked to your right at the stone church across the river? This is a common refrain, “I’ve often seen that beautiful church but have never visited.” Now is your chance.
Stop in during Church of Our Saviour’s (Mission Farm Road, Killington) open house on June 5th between 4 and 6 pm. Come see and learn about the National Historic Register church, the early 1800’s vicarage, and the converted barn-to-guest-house across the street, where many stay for retreats and reunions. There are just under two hundred acres surrounding the church, including steep hillsides and flat bottom lands along the river.
For the past year and a half, Church of Our Saviour has been focusing on establishing and renewing friendships and partnerships with people and organizations, both secular and religious, in the area. The church regards its buildings as well as its lands as potential assets for the greater community. The open house on Sunday afternoon, June 5th, is a way for people to become familiar with “Mission Farm” and what it has to offer. Won’t you join us for a grand tour, engaging conversation and delicious refreshments?
