It’s Plymouth Strawberry Festival Time again!!! Bring on the Berrys, the BBQ and the Prizes!!!
When? Wednesday, June 18th from 5 – 8 at Camp Plymouth State Park. Admission is free and will be held rain or shine.
It’s time to join your friends and neighbors, bring the kids and parents to the Annual Plymouth Strawberry Festival, a great local this tradition. Enjoy great BBQ’d hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers cooked by our Fire and EMS chefs, home made salads and beans, and the regionally renowned Tyson Ladies Aid Strawberry Shortcake that has piles of strawberries, ice cream and real whipped cream, all on top of homemade bisquits! If that isn’t enough, the Tyson Church is outdoing themselves this year with a raffle with loads of GREAT prizes! There will be face painting for the young at heart, music, crafts for the kiddies and a Touch-a-Truck not to be missed.
This event is sponsored by volunteers in 3 Plymouth based organizations: Plymouth Emergency Services (including Fire and Emergency Medical Service), the Tyson Church and the Tyson Ladies Aid. Proceeds from each organization’s activity, BBQ, raffle and Strawberry Shortcake, respectively will support and benefit: fire and emergency medical protection and education, children/youth programs, community outreach and scholarships for seniors going to Woodstock and Black River High Schools. This year a portion of each group proceeds will be contributed to the Bethany Birches Campership Fund for local Plymouth/Bridgewater youth.
Come on over for a fun and relaxing time with friends and family, share great food, take a chance for great prizes, all while enjoying this scenic park on the lake. Remember: rain or shine and free admission! For questions or further information call Sue Poirier at 228-3308. See you there!!!
